An agent is only as good as its memory. ## Past work ### Dot Fun Labs (founder / consumer crypto) A lab making consumer crypto feel less like finance and more like play, backed by a16z CSX. **Problem:** The bet was that consumer crypto would not only look like finance. It would look like identity, collecting, remixing, speculation, games, and small social rituals. **System:** Dot shipped fast enough to learn from behavior: Dot Fan/Ribbit turned collecting into play; Cults turned PFP remixes into launch mechanics; Racer turned trading into visible game movement; Traitor tested NFT collections that humans and agents could launch, mint, and trade around. **Proof:** 14 experiments across Base, Zora, and Solana; Dot Fan/Ribbit reached 97K users and 50M+ plays; Cults drove 18K+ remixes and 419 launches; Racer drew support from Solana, Meteora, and OpenSea; Traitor pushed the thesis toward AI-driven markets. ### Perk Shop (founder / fan commerce) Commerce that recognizes the fan, not just the credit card: prove you belong, unlock what money alone can't buy. **Problem:** Superfans spend 80% more on music than the average listener, and checkout still treats everyone the same. Fandom is time, taste, and the feeling of being recognized before everyone else catches up. **System:** Perk Shop turned that into claim infrastructure: eligibility rules, gated storefronts, Shopify products, wallet checks, social checks, Discord checks, POAPs, reporting, and rewards. **Proof:** Powered 130K+ token-gated claims across fashion, music, events, social, and lifestyle pilots, including fan-commerce programs for Live Nation and Asus. The finding: access becomes commerce when the system recognizes the fan, not just the email address. ### Emamo (founder / event SaaS) Ticketing with marketing built in: campaigns that run themselves, generated from the schedule and speakers. **Problem:** Event teams were not short on tools. They were short on one current version of the event. **System:** Emamo connected agendas, speakers, ticketing, and public pages to one record, then made that record promote itself: branded social cards generated for every speaker and session, auto-posted to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. **Proof:** Change a session once and every channel followed: the schedule, the event site, and the social calendar stayed one truth. Used by startup weeks, industry summits, and music-tech conferences. ### Sched (founder / event SaaS) An SXSW hack that grew into the scheduling platform behind thousands of events, bootstrapped to seven-figure ARR. **Problem:** Events became too complex for static programs: thousands of sessions, speakers, venues, attendees, ticket rules, sponsors, room changes, and last-minute decisions. **System:** Sched turned that into live event infrastructure: agenda publishing, attendee schedules, speaker tools, ticket sync, check-in, embeds, mobile, event sites, and printed field guides when the schedule needed to survive Austin. **Proof:** Powered official schedules for Lollapalooza and Comic Con, shipped recurring SXSW map guides, and grew into a bootstrapped seven-figure ARR company with an eight-person remote team. ### The Hype Machine (partner / music streaming) Where a million listeners discovered music before the algorithms did, powered by the internet's best music blogs. **Problem:** Before Spotify playlists and algorithmic feeds, discovery was scattered across hundreds of writers, MP3 posts, blogrolls, and late-night link chains. **System:** Led product, design, and partnerships as Hype Machine indexed that human taste layer, made it searchable and playable, and ranked what listeners loved before algorithmic discovery flattened the web. **Proof:** Over a million users at peak. Fred Wilson called it 'the best thing to happen to music since the Rolling Stones'; Gawker founder Nick Denton, 'the future of all media'; The Guardian listed it among the web's essential sites. ### Infinite Burn (founder / experiential marketing) Ran field operations for Samsung and Pinterest across the US, including SXSW, Lollapalooza, ACL, and NBA All-Star Weekend. **Problem:** Internet-native brands become real when the promise has to work for people on the street, in a venue, or inside a crowded event. **System:** Built each operation from scratch: hired and trained the street teams, designed the coverage maps and bike dispatch, and ran battery inventory, service tents, signage, vendor coordination, guest flow, and escalation live. **Proof:** Samsung #PowerOn ran charging coverage across four major festivals; Pinterest IRL turned boards into street-level programs: a Boston dog-park build, a Philadelphia movie night, photo booths, and on-site production. ## Rituals ### 10K steps every day (ritual / connect) Discoveries, good friends, and the long way home. No wasted steps. One rule, no rest days: 10,000 steps before the day ends. It started as a commitment to myself and turned into a way of meeting the world. **Proof:** 10,000+ steps a day for five completed years and counting, kept through company launches, festival weeks, red-eyes, and Brooklyn winters. ### Take a photo every day (ritual / remember) A simple way to remember more that inspired 30K people to join in. One photograph every day, posted publicly. The rule was simple enough to keep and public enough to quit loudly. **Proof:** Two completed year-long runs, a community that grew past 30,000 photographers and 1.8 million photos, and published Photojojo writing about how to do it. ### Live out of a backpack (ritual / explore) Built remote-first companies from one bag before remote work had a playbook. Living out of a backpack was not travel as content. It was an operating constraint: build companies, serve customers, meet teams, and keep product work moving across time zones. **Proof:** Eight years on the road across 40+ countries while building remote-first companies. ## Colophon One HTML file, no framework, no build step. Design tokens in CSS custom properties; a Cloudflare Worker turns visitor prompts into token sets via a constrained LLM schema, solves WCAG contrast deterministically, and restyles the owner's portrait with an image model, cached per style. Content never changes; only presentation. That constraint is the demo.
